Representatives of CSO Libero have participated in the training for diversification of funding sources, which was held in Vrdnik, Serbia, from March 23 to 25, 2022. The event was attended by members of non-profit organizations from all parts of Serbia who have received institutional support within the project “Together for an active civil society – ACT”. During the three-day training, through practical examples, they talked about different types of fundraising that are available to organizations in Serbia. Special attention was paid to the development of strategies and introduction to platforms for crowdfunding, given that this form of fundraising is relatively underdeveloped in our civil sector. The participants of the training also had the opportunity to participate in the simulation of a crowdfunding event, during which funds were raised to help the local humanitarian organization from Vrdnik.
