A representative of Libero participated in the training for the preparation of project proposals for civil society organizations, which was held in Vrnjačka Banja in the period from August 27th to 30th, 2022. The event was attended by members of non-governmental organizations from all parts of Serbia. During the four-day training, through interactive discussions and working groups, all phases and basic elements of projects were discussed.
Special attention was devoted to the development and capacity building of non-governmental organizations in Serbia so that they can improve their abilities, and thus increase their opportunities, through mastering the skills of preparing project proposals, while respecting the principles of inclusive participation of young people and gender equality.
Training participants had the opportunity to put together their project proposals through working groups and the participatory game “Project design: What, who, how?”. At the end of the training, with the mentoring support of the trainers and lecturers from the OSCE Mission in Serbia, the participants analyzed their projects, discussed how they could improve them further, and exchanged useful practices that resulted from the creative process itself.
The training was organized by the Local Office of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) in Serbia, with the support of the OSCE Mission in Serbia.
