On Monday, March 22, 2021, an online workshop “Ask me anything about EU support – Europe for Citizens” was organized by the EU Info Corner in Niš. The workshop was organized with an aim to introduce civil society organizations and state institutions to the process of preparation, application and implementation of projects within the European Union programme “Europe for Citizens” The goal of this programme is the development and promotion of European citizenship and common identity, but also diversity that enriches the European continent.
The president of CSO Libero, Ivan Despotović, was one of the speakers at the workshop. During the conversation with the moderators and other participants, he presented the rich experience of our organization in implementing projects through the programme “Europe for Citizens” and shared tips and advice that will help organizations and institutions interested in applying within this programme. Besides to Ivan two more speakers tool part in the workshop – Bojan Milosavljević from the Foundation “Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture” and Sanja Atansaković Opačić from the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, which is the national contact point for the programme “Europe for Citizens”.
