Twelve young people, representatives of local Youth Offices from Sombor, Zrenjanin, Zajecar, Novi Pazar, Blace and Uzice, had successfully completed the training for peer educators on the subject of protection of human rights on the Internet, on-line fight against discrimination, hate speech and harassment in the virtual world.

During the four days training, they were trained to be promoters of responsible use of the Internet. During the training, through a variety of creative and interactive workshop, future peer educators, were introduced to the topic of social networks, human rights on the Internet, communication methods, as well as the methods of conducting workshops, public performance, and creating a workshops plans and campaign promotion. Forthcoming activity of peer educators is realization of workshops in period of 01-20. November 2012, in secondary schools of mentioned cities.

The training was held as part of the project “Virtual feels real”, supported by European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe and Serbian Ministry of Youth and Sport.
