CSO Libero is one of 30 civil society organizations from Serbia that have been awarded an institutional grant within the project “For an Active Civil Society Together – ACT”, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. This institutional grant is awarded with the aim of strengthening and building the capacity of organizations for more efficient involvement of citizens in their work so that together they can contribute to the progress of civil society in Serbia.
In the next 2 years, the CSO Libero will use the institutional grant of the ACT project in order to increase the involvement of young people in the work of our organization by establishing a system that will help articulate their interests, needs and problems, and improve cooperation with youth in developing and advocating policies and programs aimed at strengthening their position in society. This system will become publicly available to other civil society organizations, which will further contribute to the development of active citizenship among young people.
The project “For An Active Civil Society Together – ACT” is funded by the Government of Switzerland through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation and Civic Initiatives.
