In order to increase the level of participation among young people living in rural areas of South east Europe, NGO LIBERO from Serbia had organized the training seminar “RURAL WAY TO EUROPE – participation of rural youth” in cooperation with our partnering organizations and with the support of the European Commission – Youth in Action programme.
This training seminar has been held in Subotica, Serbia from 13th June till 20th June and it has gathered 28 participants from Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia and Serbia. During these eight days we have discussed how to promote active youth participation and youth activities in rural areas. We have also talked about the youth policies, EU perspectives and mobility of youth in rural areas of Europe. Training seminar has resulted in several ideas for the future involvement and participation of youth in rural areas.
