Representatives of CSO Libero have participated in the study session “SOCI@LISE – Social Rights in the Digital Era” organized by CONNECT International and Youth Express Network in cooperation with the Youth Department of the Council of Europe. The study session was held from 12 to 18 July 2021 at the European Youth Center in Budapest, Hungary.

This event was attended by representatives of 19 youth organizations from 13 European countries. They had the opportunity to, use non-formal education methods, to explore and learn how the digitalization and pandemic of COVID19 affected human and social rights. The benefits and risks that digitalization brings in the fields of equality, inclusion and equal access to public goods and services were also discussed. Participants have also actively worked on the development of policy recommendations aimed at ensuring that the protection of digital rights of young people is always taken into account when making decisions about further digitization of education, health, youth and social work.
